I felt I needed a light weight dressing gown for the summer and after looking around, I chose this one. I liked the magnolia flower pattern on the dark background. As soon as I'd unwrapped it, I knew it was good quality by feeling the material and by it's weight. Unfortunately, it was a tad small so my daughter took it. She goes on business trips with her job, and the dressing gown takes up less room in her bag. It also means that she can cover up her nightwear if she has to open her door at night.

I bought this to purely cover up my swim suit as I pass through the hotel lobby to the pool, so it does its job. It’s one size and for me a curvier lady at size 16 it does close but it’s snuggly without much spare room. Also there is only one piece of ribbon on the inside to fasten it before crossing and putting your belt on, but this was easily resolved with a length of ribbon and sewing it on the opposite side. The fabric itself is beautiful and has a very elegant and luxurious feel and the design is beautiful. I would recommend this even though it’s smaller than I would have liked .
